Next to St Georges de la Riviere is a well maintained nine hole golf course.

Presentation:

 
  Beautiful nine hole course close to the sea, in the dunes of Saint Jean de la Rivière, juste near Barneville-Carteret. The Cote des Isle is a links course both hilly and open to the wind.
A pretty mix of easy and difficult holes, water and small, neat greens requiring accurate play. At first, one could imagine to score easily here but with the first hole, Par 4 of 360 metres – 394 yards ending with a plateau green, it will punish any over-confident golfer. Followed by a Par 3 of 175 yards and a Par 4 with a beautiful water hazard which is not always easy to avoid.

On this Par 33 course, we find four Par 3’s in which two follow each other, the 7th & 8th, both very tricky holes playing in the wind (that either comes from the sea or the east.) Another hole to remember is the beautiful Par 5 of 481 yards, not long but far more difficult that one could imagine.
This course, situated just next to the superb beaches of côte des iles and facing the Channel Islands has had twelve holes since 1999.
